Our 2008 Christmas Party was held at the home of Trish and Gerry Hittinger. Molly (and her human, Judy) arrived early to greet everyone.
Rudi helped.
Jenny and her Golden, Maggie, made the rounds to say "hello." This was Maggie's first party where there were lots of dogs.
Of course the kitchen was the most popular place to be . . . and for good reason!
Maxx joined us at the table.
As did Molly.
Lexxiss tried, but had to settle for just eyeing the food.
Rudi asked politely if he could have a bite, but was turned down.
Maggie checked for crumbs.
And Tori staked out her spot beneath Mom Nancy.
After eating, it was time for some relaxed conversation before presents.
Molly hung out on Kirk's lap as we got organized.
After drawing numbers to decide the order in which we'd open presents, Jenny began. This required the assistance of Maggie, Maxx and Fina.
Judy went next, with Molly tucked in next to her.
The Canine-Present-Opening-Team (Fina, Maxx and Maggie) helped Jacquie next.
Nancy was joined by Fina and Tori.
Kirk looks pretty pleased with his present!
Debbie now has a place to store all of Lexxiss and Rudi's toys.
Maxx thought it would help earn a treat if he sat up while Laura opened her gift (it didn't). Rudi gets a chin scratch from Kirk while Fina is ever hopeful there will be food.
Maxx and Joanne both wonder what this could possibly be.
It's an educational doggie toy! Maxx needs to turn the wheel to find the treat. Fina's only too happy to help, so Trish has to hold her back.
Trish's gift was food - the people kind - homemade by Debbie. Yumm.
All the dogs were very well-behaved, if somewhat uncooperative for the group photo.
